About the Author
JT LeRoy is the author of the international bestsellers Sarah (being made into a film by Steven Shainberg) and The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things (film version directed by and starring Asia Argento). His third novel will be out from Viking in 2006. He is the lyricist for the band Thistle and lives in San Francisco.
Paul Bresnick, an agent and editor, has edited many award-winning music books at a variety of publishing houses, including Doubleday and William Morrow. He lives in New York City and East Hampton.
